A quiet and rainy Sunday.  Letters and Showers in the morning.  The three oldest campers had a Poker tournament in the lodge in the afternoon while the rest of the camp watched A Knight's Tale down in the boathouse.  But one truly epic event did happen.  One of our senior campers, a guy who was afraid of the water and swimming when he arrived at age 8 many summers ago, completed his third long distance swim, the Seal.  The Seal and Whale swims are both major accomplishments here at the Rock, and to have Jeremy complete his Seal was an incredible life feat.  The Birch Rock cheer for Jeremy at dinner time was a moving moment.  We are ALL so proud of Jeremy and all that he has accomplished here during his camper years.  We expect to see Jeremy back next summer as a Counselor-in-Training, giving back to the community and the next generation of great young gent.
