Nick C, for swimming a record Whale

Today was made epic by our Supercamper of the day, Nick C.  Nick swam around the perimeter of the lake to earn his Whale badge in a time of 1:59.  It took him under two hours.  JUST AMAZING!  He really is super.

We had letterwriting in the morning, Cross-Camp Capture the Flag in the afternoon, and Treetalk in the evening. 

Our evening Treetalk was about You and Your History.  Don Miguel talked about his memories from the 50s and 60s, Rich talked about the 70s, I talked about the 80s and 90s, and Sam D talked about the 2000s.  Sam wrapped it up by saying that we have all now heard about the BRC heroes of the past, but that we're ALL heroes.  Heroes wear costumes, and our costume is a maroon shirt with an arrowhead over the heart.  It was a terrific Treetalk.
