The safety and welfare of our campers and staff is our first and foremost concern! Birch Rock upholds the highest standards of Accreditation of the American Camping Association and guidelines set forth by the state of Maine.

Health care is supervised by our Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who resides in our camp's Health Lodge providing both comfort and privacy for any camper requiring medical attention. Birch Rock has an established relationship with Norway's outstanding hospital at Stephen's Memorial just 10 miles away.

All campers and staff are required to have updated health profiles and medical coverage prior to the start of the season. Careful monitoring of campers' personal health and hygiene are paramount to our mission.
