The countdown has begun with excitement and anticipation for our season’s opening on June 28th. Our camp staff will be arriving shortly, and our camp population continues to “span the globe” from France, Mexico, Sweden, the Dominican Republic, California, the Mid West, Florida, Bronx, NY and of course, New England and neighboring Norway, Maine! Although Mother Nature has blessed us with much needed rain, we are eager and ready to go for a sunny 80th season of Birch Rock Camp for boys!

We are grateful for your consistent participation in your gifts to Birch Rock! Last year were able to raise $10,000 in our annual scholarship drive and this year we are "raising the bar" to $25,000 in the effort to broaden a more diverse economic and cultural community. We have approximately $7,500 pledged to date and need to raise an additional $17,500 in order to positively support our operating budget and campers. We are asking for your support now in contributing to our dedicated Memorial Scholarship Funds - Peter Haas, Phyllis Deneault & Pat Brewster - for the 2006 season. We have approximately 20 campers who have been applied for financial assistance.

Your support has made our camp community’s success possible. We continue to need your help in locating potential campers for the future. We would greatly appreciate your help in supporting a camper ship this season. All scholarship gifts are fully tax-deductible as a nonprofit 501©3 organization.

Come tour the campus, enjoy a swim in McWain Pond, dine with the campers and staff in the grove, and will have a special intergenerational panel discussion from Birch Rockers past and present!
